Alvin Glenn Roberts passed away on Monday morning December 14, 2020, after losing his battle with cancer. He was 62.
Glen grew up in Broomall and graduated from Marple Newtown High School where he was an amazing athlete who excelled in hockey football and rugby.
His personality was larger than life, No one was safe from his relentless teasing. Glenny was always there with a helping hand for anyone who needed it Volunteering for many charities, from Habitat for Humanity to Special Olympics.
Glenny had a 40-year career with the Philadelphia Electric Company until retiring in 2017. Glenn was predeceased by his father Alvin George Roberts.
He is survived by his Wife of thirty years, Tracy Roberts of Swedesboro, son Michael Roberts, and daughter Rikki Roberts also of Swedesboro, mother Diane Roberts of Broomall, brother Brian Roberts, and Sister-in-law Wendy Roberts of West Chester, along with two special nieces Britanny Roberts and Ashley Matsko of Broomall.
His greatest joy was loving his three grandsons: Jaeden Edward Keenan, Braeden Karter Glen Keenan and Jaxon Ares Roberts. Glenn had a big, wonderful, loving extended family filled with so many aunts, uncles and cousins Who loved him dearly. He will live on in the hearts of many.
