Obituary for Marjorie C. Lang

MARJORIE C. LANG
(nee Cochran)
On Jan. 21, 2018, age 91 of Broomall since 1960 and previously from Wilmington, DE. She was
born in South River, NJ, where she graduated from High School. She went on to further her
education at the University of Delaware. Marjorie worked at Bryn Mawr Medical Specialist for
over 25 yrs, retiring as office manager.
She was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday School
Teacher, and was one of the original founders of the churches Food Bank. Mrs. Lang was also
active as a committeewoman in the Marple Republican Party, where she volunteered her time at
the polls on election day.
She is Survived by her husband, Gordon H. Lang, whom she married in 1948, she is also
survived by her sons, David H. (Patty) Lang of Marple and Thomas P. (Michele) Lang of York,
she was predeceased by her daughter Barbara Lang. She is survived by her six grandchildren and
four great grandchildren, and her sister Patricia Davis of York.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 at 11:00
AM in St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 2220 S. Sproul Rd., Broomall, where friends may
call after 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the American Cancer
Society, 1626 Locust St., Phila., PA 19103. Int. Private.
