Obituary for Elsa J. Franklin

Elsa J. Franklin, (nee Olson), on Nov. 13, 2017, age 100 of Broomall. Born In Cleveland, OH, raised and educated in Boston, MA, she gradated from Boston Girls High School and attended Burdett Business School. She taught business machine at Burdett Business school , and went to work at Park Street Church as a Mission Secretary from 1967 to the early 1980's. She was a long time member of the Grace Chapel in Havertown, where she was active with the Women's Bible study and the Senior Fellowship group. Mrs. Franklin was a member of the PEO in Wayne, and a member of the Kappa Delta Psi sorority, and she also attended the Wayne Senior Center.
She was the widow of the late Richard Boit Franklin whom she married in 1941 and who passed away in 1967. She is survived by her three daughter, Joyce Kuykendall of Houston, TX, Linda (Richard S.) Booth, and Nancy F. (Harold S.) Dalton, both of Broomall, five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to Memorial Service on Saturday, Nov. 18th at 3:00 PM in the Frank C. Videon Funeral Home, 2001 Sproul Rd., Broomall, PA, where friends may call after 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to either the Grace Chapel, 1 W. Eagle Road, Havertown, PA 19083 or World Vision, P.0. Box 9716, Federal Way, WA 98063. Interment Private
