DIX, FRANK HENRY SR., age 55, of Washingtn, DC and Phila., died suddenly on May 5, 2012.  He is survived by his sons, David H. Dix of Phila., Frank H. Dix Jr. of NY, his daughter Elena D. Dix of Erie. GUELLE, JEANNE M. (nee Cullen), age 80, of Springfield since 1964, formerly of Upper Darby.  She passed away Tuesday, May 8th, at Springfield Hospital.  She graduated from Lansdowne High School and first worked as a secretary in a real estate office in the 69th Street area, stopping to raise her children when they were born.  She was an Avon Representative serving the public for over 30 years.  She was the wife of Emil Guelle.  They married in 1957; Jeanne is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia J. Guelle of Clayton, DE; and Laura A., wife of Michael Hartman, of Point of Rocks, MD; she is also survived by her two grandchildren Anastasia and Alexander Hartman.  The Funeral Service will be at John's Lutheran Church, Scenic and Madison Roads, Springfield, PA at 10:30 AM on Friday, May 11th, with Rev. Joshua Gale officiating. BRIDGINS,JANE C., age 90, went to her eternal home on May 7, 2012 of Granite Farms, formerly of Springfield, PA. She was a graduate of Short Ridge High School and Butler University, where she was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority of Indianapolis, IN. She had worked as a Nursery School teacher and she worked for the Bell Telephone Co. She had been an active member for more than 50 years at the First Presbyterian Church of Springfield. She loved to travel and was an avid collector of stamps. Wife of the late James H. Bridgins, whom she had been married to for 63 years until his passing. Loving mother of Peter J. (Linda), Susan (Michael) and John A. Bridgins, devoted grandmother of Cara, Collin and Sarah. Sister of John Collins (Elaine) and the late Florence. Survived by several nieces and nephews. KLEIN, VIRGINIA (nee Horsey), age 85, on May 4, 2012 at White Horse Village, Newtown Square surrounded by her friends.  She was the daughter of the late Alonzo and Anne Casaneve Horsey of Merion Station. She is predeceased by her brother Alonzo Horsey, Jr., her nephew Stephen Horsey and her beloved dog Daphne Doris.  Ginny graduated from Lower Merion Hish School and the Univeristy of Pennsylvania (Psychology) and St. Joseph's University where she earned her masters in Education.  She was recruited by the CIA and served in Germany during the Cold War Era.  She taught at the Vanguard Middle School for 8 years.  She was a docent in the Egyptian Collection at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archeology and Anthropology from 1980 to 1995.  She was an accomplished Equestrian, a supporter of animal rights and sponsored Skippers Four Socks at Ryerss Retired Horse Farm in Pottstown.  A gathering of Ginny's friends will be held at White Horse Village, 535 Gradyville Rd., Newtown Square, on June 1, 2012 from 3 to 5 P.M. O'DONNELL, ROBERT J., passed away peacefully after a long illess on May 1, 2012.  He was 67.  Bob was born in Phila., PA son of the late Charles F. and Cecilia J. (nee Bolesta) O'Donnell.  He was an alumnus of Girard College and served in the USAF during the Vietnam War.  Bob retired from his position at Lockheed Martin in 2009.  He is survived by his wife of 40  years Linda K. (nee Marnie) O'Donnell, son Kyle (Jennifer) of Drexel Hill, daughter Marnie (Scott) of Blue Bell and granddaughters Caitlin O'Donnell and Brooke Lenon.  Viewing and Service private.  Frank C. MC CULLOUGH, MARGARET "PEGGY" (nee Zimmerman), age 83, was taken home to be with our Lord on April 29, 2012.  Peggy was born to German immigrants Paul and Gertrude Zimmerman and was raised in S.W. Philadelphia where she graduated from John Bartram High School in 1946.  She worked for the Wilkening Co. for several years until she met and married her husband Carl in 1951.  They moved to Springfield in 1953 where she lived until her death.  She had a very talented singing voice and loved music.  But her real love was providing for her husband and family and being at home with her four legged friends.  She loved the Lord and always found a way to witness to people about Christ.  She was a faithful member of St. Johns Lutheran Church and the Calvary Lutheran Church in Havertown where she sang in the choir for many years.  She enjoyed volunteering at the church, the Springfield Swim Club and at the Colonial Playhouse in Aldan.  Her love and compassion for animals, feeding and taking in strays, was well known to her family and friends.  She rescued and owned many pets over the years and always provided them with a loving home.  This was her legacy.  She was pre-deceased by her son Christopher who died in 1991.  Survivors who love and cherish her are her husband of 61 years Carl N.; her sons Carl P. YANNELLI, MARY LOUISE (nee Caputo) returned peacefully to her loving father on Sunday, April 1, 2012, surrounded by her devoted children and loving family.  She was born in Philadelphia the daughter of Anthony and Eleanora Caputo on June 9, 1928.  She and her late husband, Sylvio J. Yannelli raise 4 children in Philadelphia.  She is survived by her only sister, Leanora Mancini, her 4 children John (LeAnn), Mary Ellen Mason (Edric), Helene Fullmer (Keith) and Christine Yannelli.  Nanny to her 7 grandchildren, Amanda Louise Neill, Sean Perry, Elizabeth Perrine, Elliott Fullmer, Hannah Mary Fullmer and Juliette Louise Alliaume.  Mary will be reunited with her granddaughter Megan Ashley Perry in heaven.  Blessed with 5 great grandchildren Olivia, Michael, Garbriel, Scarlett and Isabella.  Mary was currently living in Woodbury, NJ and was a active member of Holy Angels Parish.  She was a volunteer in her community of Lake Bridge and served as past president of the Iris Society of Philadelphia. Mary greeted all with love, care and respect eager to help anyone in need.  Mary and her family enjoyed summers in Cape May, NJ for many years.  The house on Washington Street was always open to friends and family for good times, great food and laughter.  As a mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Nanny was our playmate, our confidant, our cook and our inspiration. LUKE, BARBARA AN (nee Rich), passed away on March 8th, age 67, at Lankenau Hospital.  She has been a resident of Broomall since 1954 and graduated from Marple Newtown High School Class of 1962.  She went on to West Chster College and received her Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy.  She had been employed by Lankenau Hospital as a respiratory therapist for 22 years, retiring in 2008.  Mrs. Luke was a longtime member of the Manoa Community Church on Eagle Rd. in Havertown, where she had been an active participant in many Bible studies.  She is survived by her son Robert Luke of Broomall, her brother David (Maria) Rich of Broomall. HENNING, SARA LOUISE, age 87, of Broomall, passed away on Monday, February 27th, 2012 at the Hospice of Lancaster County, PA.  She was born in Williamsport, PA and grew up in W. Philadelphia from 1950 to 1977, then moved to Lancaster from 1977 to 2010 and back to Broomall two years ago.  She was employed as an Assembler at National Novelty Brush Co. in Lancaster, PA from 1985 to 1989 when she retired.  She had worked as a waitress at the White Tower and the Terminal Cafe at 69th Street.  She then worked as a waitress in the Lancaster area at Sambo's, Denny's and lastly the Deluxe Diner on N. Price Street.  During World War II, she worked at the Philadelphia Arsenal refurbishing shells for the war effort.  She had attended Covenant United Methodist Church in Lancaster, PA, but most recently was attending Christ United Methodist Church in Broomall.  She is survived by her daughter Judy (Bohdan "Bo") Pawlowski of Lancaster, PA; her sons Carol (Mary) Henning of Lansdowne, PA and Louis (Linda) Henning of Lancaster, PA; her nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. DAVIDSON, RUTH ANNA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Jan. 7, 2012, at Lima Estates, Media, PA following a long illness.  Born in Philadelphia to the late Thomas and Mabel Hyatt, Ruth grew up in Glenolden, PA and graduated from Glen Nor High School in 1942.  In 1947 she married her childhood sweetheart, Andrew Davidson, who predeceased her after 50 years of marriage.  She was a devoted wife and mother and was active in her community and church, she was a Sunday School Teacher at Folcroft Union Church, where she was also involved with the Pioneer Girls, she was also a member of Turnersville Baptist Church and was active with Awana at Ocean City Baptist Church and was a fiathful friend to all.  She was employed as a secretary with the Ayers Advertising Co. of Philadelphia and from 1942 til 1947.  She leaves to cherish her memory her five children, Susan (Curtis) Harker of Salem, NJ, Thomas (Clare) Davidson of Morrisville, PA, Christine (William) Schell of McKinley, TX, Andy (Lori) Davidson of Emerald Isle, NC and Beth (Myke) Neal of Glen Mills, PA, twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was predeceased by a beloved aunt, Susan Hyatt of Merchantville, NJ.  Ruth will be remembered by many for her tireless devotion to her church and many civic activities, including being a Brownie Girl Scout Leader in Norwood during the early 1960's, Norwood Boys Club, PTA at the Norwood Elementary School and the Atlantic City Rescue Mission, and many others. A 1968 graduate of Chichester School District, he went on to serve in the U.S. Army in the Viet Nam War, receiving the Bronze Star.  After returning from the war he went to work as an electrician for the Sinclair Refinery of Trainer and was with the company for 35 years, and now known as Conoco Phillips).  He retired in 2008 as a Supervisor.  He was a former member of the Oil, Chemical & Atomic Workers Union. Mr. Taraborrelli was a graduate of Bok Technical School of Philadelphia, which led him onto his career with the Philadelphia Navy Yard as a Planning/Estimator in shipbuilding for 37 years, retiring in 1978. He first worked for the Navy Yard, then went into the Navy and then after the War, returned to work at the Navy Yard. BROWN, EDWARD C. (TED), on Sept. 23, 2011, age 88, at Little Flower Manor.  Born in Rochester, PA.  Ted was raised in Beaver.  He later moved to Drexel Hill, where he met his beloved wife, Pat.  Ted worked as a traveling salesman, attending Grove City College prior to serving in the U.S. Navy during WWII.  He later attended The Wharton School of Business.  A Mason for over 60 years, Ted wa a proud member of Jerusalem Lodge No. 104 F&AM.  He was a longtime member of The United Presbyterian Church of Manoa, where he served as deacon.  A devoted husband, brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather, he took great joy sharing in the lives and events of his family and friends.  Known for his cheerful and upbeat attitude with residents and staff, Ted consider Little Flower truly his "home" after sustaining a life-changing injury in 2004. Janea was the Work Study Coordinator at the Vanguard School in Malvern.  She was a member of the West Bradford Fire Company, the Minqua Ambulance, and the Red Knights Motorcycle Club (Pa2).  She loved to travel, collect Charming Tails, and shop for a good deal.  She was an active participant in several square dancing groups, but Janea's favorite pasttime was spent lovingly spoiling her grandchildren, Brendan and Colin who will miss her deeply.  She was the beloved wife of Gary D. Gordon of Downingtown, devoted mother of Sean (Nicki) Gordon and Colleen (Jeff) Gordon Hall, both of Downingtown, grandmother of Brendan and Colin.  She is also survived by her father, Charles Lague of Pawley's Island, South Carolina, and two sisters, Mara Lague of Lakeview Terrace, California, and Roz (Kevin) Smith of Huntington, West Virginia, a brother-in-law, Keith (Kathy) Gordon of North East, MD and a sister-in-law, Carol Gordon of Kaneohe, Hawaii. ECKER, CHARLES JR., Presbyterian Lay Leader.  A resident of Pennsylvania for nearly a century and a member of the Greatest Generation, died peacefully at the age of 100 with his family at his side in Camarillo, California, on May 10, 2011.  His goal was to celebrate his centennial, which he did at a large and loving party on April 2nd.  For much of his professional life and virtually all of his personal life, Chuck was an active member of the United Presbyterian Church.  From his ordination as an elder in 1952 through two decades as the Field Director for the Presbyterian Lay Committee, he was known for his commitment and fiery sermons.  Born in Oakmont, in 1911, he graduated from Williams College in 1932.  A member of the 29th Infantry Division, he fought through Germany in WW II and was awarded a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star.  Always active in his community, he volunteered with Triad, one of Pennsylvania's earliest prison ministries, at a Chester food bank and as docent at Waynesboro Historical Museum.  He loved his family, friends, the Phillies, playing golf, and Uno at Bellingham Retirement Community.  He is loved and missed by his daughter Patty, her husband Joseph Benti and grandchildren Matthew and Diann Benti, his wife of 52 years, Grace Dodds Ecker, died in 1990.  Services are private. DOWD, ELIZABETH A. "BETTY", age 78, on Jan. 12, 2011.  A resident of Broomall for 50 years.  She was predeceased by her brothers Frank and Bob and sister Claudia Scheu.  Betty had graduated from Haverford High School and worked in the Accounting Dept. of the Pennsylvania Railroad (now Conrail) for 44 years, retiring in 1993.  She had enjoyed swimming as a young girl and had several newspaper articles written about her.  She went on to teach Scuba Diving at the Main Line Diving Club from 1960 till the early 1980s.
